Claudia Crivello, Chief Executive Officer
Claudia is a sophomore in the McDonough School of Business double-majoring in finance and international political economy with a minor in entrepreneurship. She joined Georgetown Ventures' finance division during the fall of her freshman year. She then became the Vice President of HR & Logistics. Today, Claudia is GV’s CEO and Board Chair. Her favorite part about the startup world is that anyone can be an entrepreneur; however, it is all about strategy and using one’s resources to become successful. For this reason, Claudia loves that Georgetown Ventures helps Georgetown students turn their ideas and passions into successful startups.
Julian Davis, Chief Operations Officer
Julian is a sophomore in the McDonough School of Business majoring in Management, Leadership, and Innovation and minoring in Physics. A passionate entrepreneur, Julian founded a clothing company and an international social venture in high school. Most recently, he co-founded an accommodations startup called SleepSurf, which he currently manages as CEO. Born and raised in San Diego, CA, he was the President of his high school’s Business Club and competed in multiple regional and international business concept competitions before coming to Georgetown. Julian previously served as GV’s VP of LaunchPad and today serves as GV’s COO. He believes that Georgetown Ventures can not just serve Georgetown’s current incredible startup founders, but can also grow the University’s entrepreneurial community into one of the best in the country.
Luan Tian, Chief Ventures Officer
Luan is currently a junior studying International Politics in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He is from Melbourne, Australia and plans to stay in the United States after graduation to pursue a career in the financial services. Luan is deeply devoted to the start-up world, beginning as a consultant and then a project manager in Georgetown Ventures. He is also a regional winner and a national finalist in the undergraduate Venture Capital Investment Competition. On campus, Luan is also a research assistant in Georgetown’s Department of Government working on projects related to great power competition, grand strategy, and military technology. His personal interests include collecting past runway pieces from fashion shows and following modern and contemporary art. He has visited well over 300 art and design galleries across Oceania, North America, Europe, and East Asia and is a film photographer himself.
